Park Policies
Because Six Flags is a family park, we expect guests to behave appropriately. Unruly, disruptive or offensive behavior, including line-jumping and profanity, is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. Violating our park policies may be cause for ejection from the park without refund. For more information, please review the park policies below.
NEW: Card Payments
Six Flags Over Texas accepts card payments only at all locations including restaurants, retail stores, games, ticket windows, and parking toll booths. You can either pay for purchases using a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or a debit card. Only have cash? You can convert your cash to a prepaid debit card at one of the multiple kiosks located throughout the park and anywhere in the U.S. where Visa is accepted. We highly encourage you to pre-purchase your parking, tickets, and more online before visiting the park.

NEW: Chaperone Policy
The safety of our guests and associates has always been our top priority at Six Flags Over Texas. We are committed to keeping Six Flags Over Texas a place where families and friends come together to enjoy a one-of-a-kind park full of fun experiences and immersive entertainment.
As part of that commitment, we are implementing a chaperone policy beginning September 7.
Under this policy, all guests ages 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old in order to be admitted to, or remain in, the park after 4:00 p.m. local time to close. The chaperone must present a valid government-issued photo identification with date of birth at ticket entry. One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than ten (10) guests ages 15 or younger per day. In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be available by phone throughout their stay. Guests ages 15 years old or younger who are found inside the park unaccompanied by a chaperone will be subject to ejection. This chaperone requirement applies to all Six Flags Over Texas ticket and season passholders.
We believe these changes will help ensure that Six Flags Over Texas continues to have a positive atmosphere where generations of families and friends can gather for a day of safe fun and good food. Millions of guests have counted on us for exactly that, and we will continue to deliver on that promise for generations to come.
Why are you implementing this policy?
A safe, family-friendly atmosphere of Six Flags Over Texas is the type of experience our guests expect and deserve. Over the past few years, there have been increasing incidents of unruly and inappropriate behavior at amusement parks and other major entertainment venues. This policy is being put in place to ensure that all guests have the best time ever and leave happy and eager to visit again.
I am coming with a pre-scheduled company event or school group, does this policy apply?
A chaperone policy still applies to pre-scheduled company events and school groups. If you purchased tickets through our Group Sales department and have questions, please contact your Group Sales representative.
Does the chaperone need to always stay with the group?
Chaperones must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit, and be available by phone throughout their stay.
One (1) chaperone may accompany no more than ten (10) guests ages 15 or younger per day.
What happens if guests 15 years old or younger do not have a chaperone?
