Get Your Zombie On And Show Your Halloween Spirit with #IAmFrightFest #SFSL

Six Flags St. Louis and its sister parks throughout North America invite Halloween enthusiasts to embrace their inner zombie this fall. The living dead have risen, and our only question is—will you be joining them? People everywhere are encouraged to get their zombie on and take fun, family-friendly selfies in their favorite places and share them on social media with #IAmFrightFest #SFSL. On November 1, Six Flags St. Louis will choose a local winner to receive a free 2016 Season Pass.

“People just have a tremendous love for Halloween – getting dressed up and scary, and being out and about in character to share in the fun that the holiday creates. I think the zombie culture as a whole is widely appealing to every age and demographic…everyone loves zombies, adults and children alike, so why not share this love of Halloween and the spirit of Six Flags Fright Fest with others on social media,” said Jason Meehan, founder of one of the world’s largest zombie walks.

Walking the dog, bagging food at the grocery store or posing in front of a local landmark—typical, “normal” activities have a frightfully fun twist when dressed as a zombie. Participants are encouraged to wear tattered or imitation blood-splattered clothing and makeup in a variety of colors including red, white, black, purple and green. Photos should be family-friendly and free of images or words that could be considered inappropriate, vulgar or offensive. Participants should adhere to all local, state and federal laws and photograph only in safe locations.

In addition to this national zombie celebration, Six Flags St. Louis unleashes its darkest, most terrifying Fright Fest® in history this fall with 24 Halloween haunts including three new hair-raising horrors – Vengeful Trolls, Wrecker’s Salvage and Camp Killamore. The five-week festival of fear features family-friendly Thrills by Day and a zombie-filled Fright by Night that will steal your screams weekends through Nov. 1…Do you dare?
