Coast Back To School Supply Drive

School is just around the corner and many students are in need of school supply items. This year, Six Flags Great America has partnered with United Way of Lake County to host the Coast Back to School supply drive on National Roller Coaster Day. On Friday, August 16, celebrate our favorite day of the year by bringing school supply items to the park for a special wristband to cut down your wait time on select coasters!

On August 16 we will be accepting school supply items from 10am - 3pm in front of the park exit. Wristbands for donations will grant you FASTER access to a number of fan-favorite coasters! 

Please bring brand new items only. One item is needed per person in order to obtain a wristband.

When you bring in school supply items you'll be granted fast access on the following coasters:

  • Goliath
  • X Flight
  • Demon
  • Raging Bull
  • Viper
  • Whizzer

Items We Accept

  • Backpacks - Large, no wheels
  • Spiral notebooks (wide-rule)
  • 3 ring binders - 1,2, and 3 inches
  • Boxes of Kleenex
  • Boxes of 36 count crayons
  • Boxes of 12 count colored pencils
  • Elmer's glue
  • Extra Large glue sticks
  • Crayon boxes or pouches
  • Yellow highlighters (2 per pack)
  • #2 pencils
  • Dry erase markers (need packs of black and colored markers)
  • Bottles of hand sanitizer
  • Bottles of antibacterial soap
