Explore wildlife wonders aboard a thrilling 30-35 minute guided tour on the Wild Safari! Discover amazing animals, learn about conservation efforts firsthand, and create roaring memories.
Aboard our open-air vehicles, you’ll get close to over 1,200 animals from six continents including elephants, rhinos, tigers, giraffes and lions, the Wild Safari takes explorers on an exhilarating animal adventure. Throughout the excursion, informative guides will entertain you and answer questions providing a wildly interactive experience.

Please note: Tickets are required for all guests over 36” to enter the Wild Safari and Base Camp. Admission is included with your 2025 Season Pass.

Wild Safari Base Camp
At our Safari Base Camp, get up close with fascinating animals, from colorful parrots and powerful birds of prey to unique reptiles, curious insects, and adorable mammals. Stroll through the camp at your own pace, exploring exhibits, grab a bite of food or your favorite animal souvenir. Throughout the day, expert animal educators bring the wild to life, sharing fascinating facts, conservation insights, and behind-the-scenes stories about the animals you see.
Savannah Sunset Resort & Spa
An authentic African lodging experience at the NEW Savannah Sunset Resort & Spa set within the heart of the Wild Safari. Overnight guests will enjoy ultra-luxurious glamping accommodations, scenic vistas, spa services and VIP dining, all creating an unforgettable safari getaway.

Sit back, relax, and get all the credit for the wildest lesson yet! Our free teacher resources include worksheets and lesson plans for grades K through 12. All lessons were created by our own NJ state certified teacher and are tailored to the appropriate age groups while following the New Jersey State Learning Standards.

Six Flags Great Adventure and Safari is committed to conserving wildlife, and you can help. Through our Save an Icon program, you can purchase a limited-edition collectors pin and Six Flags Great Adventure Resort will donate 100% net proceeds to the Wildlife Conservation Network. The collectors’ pin featuring these two beloved creatures can be purchased at select retail locations in the Wild Safari and theme park.
