White Water Bay Opens Weekends Beginning May 3
Cool off at White Water Bay, opening for the 2014 season at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, starting May 3! Splash into summer with White Water Bay, Six Flags Fiesta Texas’ eXtreme FREE (with park admission) water park. White Water Bay is now open weekends, and begins daily operation on June 6.
Featuring more than fifteen rides and attractions, including a lazy river and Texas-shaped wave pool, White Water Bay has water attractions for every age! For true thrill-seekers, Tornado offers a chance to go extreme tubing with up to four riders per cloverleaf tube.
Available this summer, Bahama Blaster with the world’s steepest water slide drop will be the thrilling centerpiece to the giant water park expansion in White Water Bay. Bahama Blaster offers an adrenaline rush like no other collection of slides in the region. This newest addition to White Water Bay features four body slides that sit side-by-side and offer a unique launching capsule system. After reaching the top of the six-story tower, guests step into the enclosed vertical capsule where the floor drops out beneath them, sending riders free-falling 40 miles-per-hour down the slide.
Guests may also be able to enjoy an all-new swim-up bar, Dom Julio's Beach Bar. Dom Julio's is a swim-up bar with stools that will offer a relaxing oasis in White Water Bay. Featuring a signature rum-based cocktail, “The Bahama Blaster,” the location will also offer traditional and strawberry margaritas and Pina Coladas plus beer, soft drinks, bottled water, and nachos.
Connected to Dom Julio’s Beach Bar will be our lounge pool Paradise Cove. Paradise Cove offers a small pool area for children to relax and splash in after coming down the exciting twin kid’s slides Bamboo Chutes & Toucan Falls.
In addition to the thrilling new guest areas in White Water Bay, Fiesta Texas offers a new luxury cabana amenity named Cabana Village. Cabana Village is home to six entirely new luxury cabanas featuring ceiling fans, table and chairs, two recliners and a fully stocked mini-refrigerator. Food servers may deliver food directly to the cabanas for guests to enjoy; each cabana may be rented for an additional fee.
As a special treat Saturday evenings through May 17, Spring Blast continues! Each of these evenings at 9 p.m., a colorful bloom of pyrotechnics will be choreographed to upbeat musical selections and appear high above the park’s 100-ft. quarry walls. Come out for the thrills and fun, stay after closing to experience the fantastic fireworks extravaganza.
Swing by SkyScreamer Backwards to take a ride 200-ft. above the ground! SkyScreamer takes guests for an insane new experience, swinging riders backwards as they go up to 40 miles an hour! Thirty-two guests will board the ride and sit two across in open air swings as they climb to the top of the SkyScreamer tower while spinning round and round backwards, through Memorial Day!
