Polar Coaster Challenge
The Polar Coaster hits Six Flags!
On December 7, Six Flags is celebrating the Polar Coaster Challenge. Named after the meteorological term for dramatically fluctuating temperatures expected for this winter, we're challenging you to ride THE JOKER in layers of winter clothing as if you were in below freezing weather!
For this quirky and fun event:
- The challenge is free with Theme Park admission, Membership and Season Pass
- Must be tall enough to ride THE JOKER (48'')
- Clothing can include: thick jackets, beanies, mittins, scarves (must be tucked in), skii clothing, etc.
- Gates will open prior at 12:45pm
- Event will begin at 1pm before official park opening at 2pm
We will also be holding a toy donation that will be distributed to the youth and local communities. We highly encourage participants to donate anything they can with a minimum toy value of $5! Guest will also have the option to purchase one of our Holiday Bears. For every bear purchased, one will be donated to local non-profits.
In order to participate, all challengers must be ready to sign a photo/video release form and a safety waiver. Anyone under 18 years of age will require a parent or legal guardian to sign for them. Pre-registration is not required.
Event is weather permitting. Only THE JOKER will be operating during the Polar Coaster Challenge. All other rides and Holiday in the Park Attractions will open with the theme park at 2 pm.
