About Us

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is the Thrill Capital of Northern California featuring a unique combination of animal attractions, thrilling rides, exciting shows and wildlife presentations.

You'll experience a full day of fun and discovery as your adventure includes enjoyment of over 40 rides and attractions, plus wildlife encounters, with opportunities to feed a giraffe, sea lion or even touch a stingray. Sign up to participate in our popular in-water dolphin interaction program and really get to know these engaging marine mammals one-on-one.

With eleven thrilling roller coasters, you won't want to miss Six Flags Discovery Kingdom's newest attraction, Batman: The Ride, the one-of-a-kind SUPERMAN Ultimate Flight and the hybrid wood and steel coaster, THE JOKER, with its nonstop action and suspense. With wet and wild water rides, kid-friendly play areas like Looney Tunes Seaport, Tava's Jungleland and Seaside Junction, there's something for all ages, all year long.

More Thrills!

Visit Six Flags Discovery Kingdom's sister waterpark, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord, located just 20 miles away. In addition to a new name for Northern California's biggest and most thrilling waterpark, there's a new look, fun and thrilling additions and Splashwater Island, the largest new attraction in over a decade.

Adding to the park's exciting line-up of thrill rides, as well as to the DC Universe, is Batman: The Ride! This 4D Wing Coaster is first of its kind on the West Coast! Riders will experience a sensory overload as they flip head-over-heels at least six times along a weightless, tumbling journey with unexpected drops and vertical free-falls. Now open!

Unlimited visits to this park, and our other Six Flags parks all year long. You can also purchase a special Season Pass Combo Pass to ride and slide at  Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Concord.  Not to miss are Spring Break, our huge July 4th Fest through to Fright Fest and our popular Holiday in the Park celebration.
